We are very excited to announce the next speaker for the Previsico and UDlive water event!
Ola Jacob, UK & Ireland Business Development Director at Descartes Underwriting will be joining us in Lloyd’s on 8th May.
Ola has enjoyed working in the London Market insurance sector for over twelve years on UK Retail, Product Recall, Terrorism, Onshore Energy and Parametric, earning him the honour of being named Insurance Times Technology Champion of the Year.
Ola has recently become the Business Development Director for the UK & Ireland for Descartes Underwriting, specialising in Parametric Insurance MGA and covers Natural Catastrophe exposure globally. As one of the Pioneers of Parametric Insurance, he has enjoyed building a distribution strategy for one of the first successful Parametric solutions in the London Market.
Ola’s presentation is titled: "Beyond Traditional: Harnessing Parametric Insurance for Flood Events".
