Previsico are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Linda Speight, a world-renowned hydrometeorologist as a special scientific advisor.
Working at the interface of academia and operational forecasting, Linda’s research seeks to develop early warning systems to improve disaster risk management, particularly for flooding.
Partnering with various bodies including the Environment Agency and Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), UK Met Office and the Red Cross Climate Centre on a regular basis enhances Linda’s depth and breadth of knowledge across the meteorologist arena which is ideal for her work with Previsico.
