Previsico’s 2025: Our year in review

As 2025 comes to a close, Previsico reflects on another landmark year of growth, innovation and impact. From securing major investment and launching next-generation technology to new partnerships and national recognition, 2025 has been one of our most transformative years yet. Here’s a look back at the moments that defined it.

Series A investment secured

One of our biggest milestones this year was securing our Series A funding. This investment marks a major step forward in accelerating our mission to become the global leader in live flood forecasting. It will support the continued enhancement of our technology, expansion into new markets, and further scaling of our team.

New partnerships

In 2025, we’ve been proud to form a new partnership with Marsh, one of the world’s leading insurance brokers and risk advisors. Together, we are delivering more advanced and accessible flood risk solutions for Marsh’s customers, bringing together Previsico’s live flood forecasting capabilities with Marsh’s deep expertise in risk management and client support.

This year also marked the start of our collaboration with the Transit Tech Lab, a public-private initiative founded by the MTA and the Partnership Fund for New York City. Through this partnership, we are demonstrating how our real-time flood forecasting solutions can enhance emergency preparedness, support operational continuity, and strengthen risk mitigation for the MTA and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ). Our technology is helping anticipate and respond to flood-related disruptions across transit infrastructure, and we’re excited about the potential of this ongoing collaboration.

Thought-leadership

This year, we hosted one of our most high-profile events to date, a panel discussion featuring renowned environmentalist Chris Packham. The session brought together industry leaders and sustainability experts to explore how advanced data and modelling can help organisations respond to worsening climate-related flood risks.

We also launched our first-ever State of Flood Resilience Report, surveying thousands of industry professionals to understand their views on flood risk, its impacts and current levels of preparedness.

In addition, we published our Proactive Flood Risk Manager Guide, offering practical insights on how to manage and mitigate flood risk more effectively. We also collaborated with Descartes Underwriting and Captive Intelligence to release a detailed industry report, further establishing Previsico as a source of actionable intelligence in flood risk management.

Flood Intelligence 2.0

Innovation remained at the heart of our work in 2025. This year, we worked hard behind the scenes to prepare our latest platform upgrade Flood Intelligence 2.0, the newest evolution of our market-leading flood forecasting platform.

Flood Intelligence 2.0 delivers:

  • Probabilistic flood forecasts
  • Hourly updates
  • 24 hour look-back
  • A redesigned user interface

These advancements, which will be available in early 2026 will enable customers to take faster, more confident action to reduce losses and protect communities.

Recognition

We were honoured to be ranked 4th in the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, placing Previsico among the very fastest-growing technology companies in the country. This recognition reflects the accelerating demand for advanced flood forecasting solutions and the hard work of our dedicated team.

Looking ahead

With strong momentum, expanded partnerships, and the upcoming roll-out of Flood Intelligence 2.0, Previsico enters 2026 in its strongest position to date. Backed by new investment and driven by our mission to reduce the devastating impacts of flooding across the world, we look forward to another year of growth, innovation, and meaningful impact.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates in the year ahead!
