Previsico are surface water flood forecasting specialists enabling people and organisations to minimise the impact of flooding. Backed by Foresight Group and underpinned by two decades of research at Loughborough University, Previsico’s world leading solution is used by insurers, businesses and government to reduce their losses. Our mission is to be the leading global provider of cutting-edge flood prediction that saves lives and livelihoods whilst significantly reducing the cost of flooding. Having launched in January, 2019, we have a growing team of ~25 people with offices in Loughborough and London.

The role

The Customer Success Manager is a new position that has been created to meet a growing demand for Previsico’s innovative solutions to build climate resilience. The role is responsible for supporting, developing and retaining existing clients by growing the service’s value and use across their businesses. The role offers flexible working with offices available in Loughborough & London, if and when required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, achieving targets for renewals/retention, client satisfaction, and growing the account’s revenues
  • Develop and manage excellent working relationships with clients, resellers and other agents
  • Identify the best opportunities for growth and service to the client with an in depth understanding of the client’s business and their end customers
  • Support clients to ensure they benefit from the best experience of Previsico’s range of products and services to increase flood resilience
  • Liaise across the business to champion the client and maximise client satisfaction
  • Work with product managers to test ideas and introduce new products through regular visits and communication with clients and resellers
  • Increase the profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added-value services wherever possible
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients
  • Liaise with colleagues to keep your knowledge of new and existing products up to date
  • Keep up to date with current market conditions and competitors’ products
  • Monitor and report on performance against agreed sales targets
  • Work with Previsico’s suppliers of complementary products e.g. flood risk assessments and resilience measures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SaaS account management to Financial/Insurance Services or similar role
  • Proven ability to retain customers and nurture key relationships over time
  • Excellent communications across at all organisational levels, including C suite
  • Strategic thinker that can input into the business client development strategy
  • Proven negotiator with excellent track record in value based sales
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Well-organized and detail oriented
  • Exceptional presentation and proposal skills

Pay and working arrangements

  • OTE of £60,000 with salary of £35-40,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus and an equity stake in the company.
  • The position is based either in our Loughborough or London office although we will consider flexible working arrangements. The applicant will need to have the right to work in the UK.
